The city of Ocala is also well known for the nearby springs called Silver Springs, Florida. This spring is one of the largest artesian spring formations in the world! This spring is surrounded by Silver Springs Nature Theme Park, one of the earliest attractions in Florida that drew people into Ocala from all over the world.
